Getting started
Do I need a Shopify store to use SweetRep?
Yes. SweetRep integrates with Shopify for discount code generation, order tracking, and billing. A Shopify store with an active plan is required.
Can I run multiple brands from one account?
Yes. SweetRep supports multiple brands under a single merchant account. Each brand has its own ambassadors, campaigns, and settings. Use the brand switcher in the header to navigate between them.
Ambassadors
How many ambassadors can I have?
The Free plan supports up to 5 active ambassadors. The Pro plan has no limit.
Can an ambassador work with multiple brands?
Yes. An ambassador can be part of multiple brands' programs. They'll have separate discount codes and dashboards for each brand.
What happens if I reject an ambassador?
They're notified by email and cannot access your program. You can invite them again later if you change your mind.
Campaigns & Codes
Can I change the commission rate on an existing campaign?
Yes, but changes only apply to future orders. Existing commissions are not recalculated.
What if a discount code already exists in Shopify?
SweetRep will automatically add random characters to create a unique code. The ambassador will see the final code in their dashboard.
Payouts
How often are payouts generated?
Weekly, every Monday. Only settled commissions (past the 30-day window) are included.
Do I have to use PayPal?
No. PayPal is optional. You can use Mark as Paid to record payments made through any other method.
What happens to commissions if an order is refunded?
If the order is refunded within the 30-day settlement window, the commission is automatically voided and won't be included in payouts.
UGC Missions
How are UGC bonuses paid?
When you approve a submission, the ambassador's bonus is added to their next weekly payout. Bonuses are merged with any commission earnings into a single payout.
How many revision rounds do ambassadors get?
Ambassadors can revise their submission up to 2 times. After that, you can only approve or reject.
Can I download the final video?
Yes. Approved videos (with watermark) are available for download from the mission detail page.
Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New Pro subscribers get a 7-day free trial with full access to all features.
What happens if my Shopify payment fails?
Your account enters a frozen state. Order tracking continues but some features may be limited. Update your payment method in Shopify to restore full access.
