Processing Payouts

Once weekly payouts are generated, you have two options for processing them.

Option 1: PayPal Payouts

If you've connected PayPal, you can send payments directly from SweetRep.
  1. Go to Payouts and open the Due tab.
  2. Review the pending payouts — each shows the ambassador's name, amount, and PayPal email.
  3. Click Send PayPal Payout on individual entries, or use Send All for batch processing.
  4. SweetRep sends the payment via PayPal's Batch Payout API.
  5. The payout status updates to Completed once PayPal confirms the transfer.

Option 2: Mark as Paid

If you're paying ambassadors through other methods (bank transfer, Venmo, cash, etc.):
  1. Go to Payouts and open the Due tab.
  2. Click Mark as Paid on the payout entry.
  3. Optionally add a note describing the payment method or reference number.
  4. Confirm the action.
The payout status changes to Completed and the ambassador is notified by email.

Failed payouts

If a PayPal payout fails (wrong email, PayPal account issue, etc.), the status changes to Failed. You can:
  • Ask the ambassador to verify their PayPal email.
  • Retry the PayPal payout.
  • Use Mark as Paid after sending payment through another method.

Payout notifications

Ambassadors receive an email notification when:
  • A new payout is generated (pending).
  • A payout is completed (paid).
