Payout Cycle

SweetRep uses a weekly payout cycle with a 30-day settlement window to ensure order stability before paying out commissions.

How the cycle works

Order placed — A customer uses an ambassador's discount code. The order is synced and a commission is calculated.
Settlement period — The commission enters a 30-day settlement window. During this time, if the order is refunded or cancelled, the commission is voided.
Commission settles — After 30 days, the commission status changes to settled and becomes eligible for payout.
Weekly payout generated — Every Monday, SweetRep generates payout entries for all settled commissions from the previous week.
You process the payout — Review and pay ambassadors via PayPal or mark as paid manually.

Settlement window

The 30-day settlement window protects you from paying commissions on orders that are later refunded. This is standard practice in affiliate programs.

Note

Only settled commissions are included in weekly payouts. Commissions still in the settlement window show as "pending" in the ambassador's dashboard.

Payout generation

Payouts are generated automatically each Monday. Each payout entry includes:

Ambassador name and email
Payout period (the week the payout covers)
Total amount (commissions + any UGC bonuses)
Status (pending, completed, or failed)

Viewing payouts

Go to Payouts in the sidebar. You'll see three tabs:

Due — Payouts awaiting your action.
Weekly Reports — Summary of each week's payouts.
History — All past payouts with their status.
